The July Circle

The inner table of the Society.

By invitation only, and capped. One does not apply. One is asked.

Wine poured into a crystal glass against total darkness, the only light in the frame

The Circle sits within the Society.

Its inner table, reached only from within. Members of the Society are considered for it in time.

A dim wood-paneled corridor lined with framed portraits and hanging candle-style chandeliers receding into shadow

Every room the Circle keeps leads, eventually, to another.

Few of them are ever photographed. This is one of the few.

What is said at the table stays at the table.

Discretion is not enforced here. It is simply assumed, and never once tested.
